ARABESQUE

The Arabesque is a heavier gauge cymbal with a medium tone and depicts an Arabesque Design from a frieze of the palace of Sultan Hasan of the 14th century. Recommended for intermediate and advanced level dancers. 2-1/16" diameter. Approximate weight 130 grams (4.6 oz.)

ARABIC CYMBALS

Available in Solid Brass only.

This design is said to be the third oldest. Adopted by the Ottoman Turks, who later changed the design by raising the rims. Medium high tone, an excellent blend with Arabic music. Available in light or heavy gauges. 2-3/16" dia. Light gauge 110 grams, heavy gauge 140 grams.

AFGHANI CYMBALS

The Afghani cymbals are made of premium quality hard brass alloy and are a simpler design than the silver tone. The silver tone depicts an intricate circular design of "Khamsah", which is the hand of Fatima, stamped with Arabic scripts "Masha' Allah" meaning "God Willing", which is widely known for its definition in the Middle East.
